Ahmad Murtaza Habibyar

Ahmad Murtaza Habibyar is a peacebuilding activist who serves as Afghanistan representative for My Face for Peace. He received his B.A. Degree in Law and Political Science from Nangarhar University Afghanistan.

He has worked at the Office of the President, Office of the Governor of Maidan Wardak, Independent Election Commission, Independent Electoral Complaints Commission and Independent Commission for Overseeing the Implementation of Constitution and with international Organizations CTG Global, UNDP Elect. 

During his work at the Office of the President, he was arranged with the task of working in the area of the governments accountability to the nation, along with his M & E Department work team in Maidan Wardak Province. He arranged the first Central Zone (Central Zone Governors) Meeting with coordination from the (Governors Support Sector) of IDLG.

He has attended many trainings and workshops having to do with Environment/ Infrastructure services, Good Governance, Land Management and informal Settlement, Local Economic Development which Conducted by UN-Habitat and Jalalabad Municipality, Voting and Counting Civic Education, Electoral Public Outreach, and DFCs` Trainings by IEC, Constitution Outreach and others Trainings and workshops.

In addition to his extensive Admin experience, he has excellent communication skills. He always maintains a gracious and professional manner when communicating with people and staff. His broad aanagerial experience and range of skills makes him a superior candidate for this position.

He has conducted trainings for Civic Educators in IEC East region, Constitution Outreach workshops and Seminars in provinces and Ministries.
