Nadir Ali Khan

Nadir is just 17 years old and already a youngest social activist with alot of achievements. Nadir is young, energetic youth activist and change maker. Nadir Ali khan has been part of a recognized program by the US Department of State and US Embassy in Pakistan. Nadir Ali khan has also been to the First In-Country Exchange Program. He is the winner of the Youth Achiever Award 2015-2016 for the Leadership Award Category. Nadir is a motivational speaker and young change maker. He is also running an NGO called the Youth Innitiative for Development (YID) to promote peace and education in his locality. Nadir is also running a chapter for Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS Youth Hazara Chapter) as a Youth Volunteer Ambassador and Chapter Coordinator. He also has been the Program Coordinator for several projects in Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa, Pakistan.

Nadir likes to do things for the betterment of mankind. He is also a youth trainer for various workshops. He has worked with several international and national organizations. He has completed his 2nd year of education recently in 2016 with a specialization in Pre-Engineering. He started social activism from 9th grade of school when he joined a recognized program by the US Department of State which give him the courage, confidence and patience to serve humanity in leadership. At that time, he joined a local Organization called Friends Welfare Foundation (FWF) as a Media Coordinator to start working for his passion (social activism), through which Nadir took part in different community service projects including blood donation and fundraising for poor children to help them get education. Nadir also worked at Teach for Pakistan in 2014 as a presenter and as a student resource representative to deliver presentations on English language learning strategies at different universities, colleges and schools of KPK. He joined the "Student Welfare Organization (SWO Pak) as a volunteer and, after a year in 2015, he started working as a Project Head for "Schools Peace Week 2015" with SWO. He also worked as a Social Media Sec at SWO. In 2015, Nadir started his first annual peace education project as the name of "Schools Peace Week" in his locality Mansehra to educate primary and secondary-level students about peace and conflict resolution and transformation education through organizing seminars at different private and governments institutes of Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa Pakistan.

He joined the Youth School for Social Entrepreneurs (YSSE) Dhaka Bangladash. He has been appointed as a provincial coordinator for Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa Pakistan for YSSE. He has also been selected as a campus ambassador for Educative, an education initiative.

Nadir is an active member of Peace Youth Assembly Pakistan. Nadir also worked with the Peace Foundation New Zealand in promoting peace education. He has also worked for Peace Education Welfare Organization (PEWO) Pakistan, and has worked with the Islamabad Institute of Information Technology and Accountancy to organize a seminars. He worked to organize workshops on peace education and conflict transofrmation under the small grant project of PAK-US Alumni Network PUAN . Nadir also worked to organize a workshop on cancer awareness and several community service workshops under the umbrella of PUAN. Community service and volunteerism is his passion.
