Changing the Narrative

Changing the Narrative– Media for Women, Peace and Security (WPS) recognizes the growing prominence of gendered narratives in peace and security, and further aims to provide support to civil society to galvanize the potential for traditional journalism and digital technology as a tool for WPS advocacy. 

The proposed initiative must:

• Demonstrate how media will be used to address WPS concerns;
• Explore aforementioned media is used in violent extremism; and
• Have identifiable beneficiaries of the project at both local and national levels.
