Call for Applications: Women’s Leadership for Collective Advocacy Training

The N-PEACE Network is pleased to accept applications for admission to a Regional Training Program, Women’s Leadership for Collective Advocacy in Bangkok, Thailand from September 21-25, 2015. The training program will be carried out by the UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub and The Institute for Inclusive Security, as collaborators of the N-PEACE Network. Interested applicants kindly complete the application form no later than 3 July, 2015. Note: To apply for this training you must be a woman from one of the following countries – Myanmar, Afghanistan or Pakistan.

Workshop Overview: This workshop will develop women’s leadership skills for facilitating change processes through advocacy. Through highly interactive methodologies including presentations, experiential exercises, reflection and exchange, participants will build skills and knowledge that will position them to be more effective advocates, activists and leaders to advance change processes related to the Women, Peace and Security agenda in their countries. They will also benefit from rich exchange with other activists working in their countries and with other women leaders with a wealth of experience and knowledge about peace and security decision making.
