In parts of Pakistan, girls and women’s roles in society are limited to household work and education tend to be exclusively offered to boys. This is especially the case in rural areas where access to education is even more difficult even for boys.
Din Muhammad Mirbahar is from the Khandu region in Pakistan, and works to bring education to girls and boys. He engages tribal leaders in dialogue to bring quality education to these remote areas and highlighting the importance of education for young girls.
