Sehyr Mirza

Sehyr Mirza is a journalist who has used her voice to advocate for women’s equality, peace and security. Her campaign against hate speech in internet spaces has raised awareness for the communalities of the perceptions of ordinary citizens on complex peace contexts.

Sehyr Mirza is also the co-founder of the Society for Advancement of Makers, Arts and Justice (SAMAAJ), an organization that uses mass mixed media and communications to advocate for issues around conflict, justice and gender.
