Anuradha Gunarathne is the National Project Coordinator of the National Protection and Durable Solutions for Internally Displaced Persons Project of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka, a position she has held since 2002. This initiative provides and promotes the protection of rights for conflict affected victims and internally displaced persons in Sri Lanka. She is widely published in the areas of human rights, peace building and conflict resolution, forced migration, internally displaced persons and refugees, and has over 7 years of experience working as a trainer and consultant with government, non-government, and civil society organizations. She is a member of the editorial board of the Refugee Watch Online South Asian Magazine and also writes for the Global Press Institute. Ms. Gunarathne holds an MA in Human Rights from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
