Our Alumni

The N-Peace Awards Alumni are a celebrated group of peace advocates consisting of the nominees and awardees from the N-Peace Awards from 2011 to 2017. They are diverse in backgrounds and faiths, yet linked by a strong resolve – to build peace, with and for women.

From high-level public figures to grassroots activists, the Awardees also include a survivor of a rocket-propelled grenade attack who now helps women with disabilities, reformers who push for women’s place at peace talks, advocates for human rights, and supporters of women’s entrepreneurship to fight poverty.

The array of nominees are equally courageous and pioneering; they are community leaders from conflict-riddled provinces, politicians advancing women’s rights, scholars, peace negotiators, and artists promoting peace through creative endeavors. Each individual has a fascinating story to tell. You can view videos on awardees’ work via our Media Hub webpage or YouTube channel
