N-PEACE AWARD

This year we are pleased to introduce the new 2018 N-Peace grants for Civil Society Organizations (CSO). Now is your chance to vote and ensure funding to a CSO of your choice.

There are three simple steps to the voting process:

1. Decide which CSO you believe will have the most impact
2. Sign up via the n-peace.net website to vote
3. Check your email and click the link to validate your account (Please do not forget this step, without validation your vote will count!)
4. Cast your vote

You can vote for each CSO only once, but you can vote for as many as you like in each category.

A reminder on our categories:

Criteria I.
Local Level Initiatives on Women, Peace and Security – on the ground action at local level (one from each country):

This category will award one CSO a grant from each country that has submitted the most promising proposal with the ability to reach the most remote and marginalized individuals in communities, influence policy decisions, and with the potential to be scaled-up.

Criteria II.
Cross-border Initiatives on Women, Peace and Security – learning and addressing challenges that cross country borders (single award):

This category is for CSOs that address cross-border challenges and/or focus on South-South learning and networking to implement the women, peace and security agenda. The proposal must reach out to the most remote and marginalized individuals in communities, have the capacity to influence policy decisions, and have the potential to be scaled-up.

Criteria III.
Youth led Initiatives on Women, Peace and Security – young women and men building peace (single award):

This category will award one CSO that engages youth in civil action in support of the women, peace and security agenda. The proposal must reach out to the most remote and marginalized individuals in communities, have the capacity to influence policy decisions, and with the potential to be scaled-up.

In addition to the above, eight noteworthy proposals from across three categories will also receive partial funding.
