Ban Landmines Campaign Nepal (NCBL)

Ban Landmines Campaign Nepal (NCBL) is a not-for-profit organization that aims to raise awareness on the detrimental effects of explosive remnants of war, support victims of landmines and lobby policymakers to address these issues. The organization was co-founded by a former 2011 N-Peace leader Purna Shova Chitrakar who was recognized for her activism supporting victims of the Maoist conflict.

Ban Landmines Campaign Nepal seeks funding for its initiative to host leadership workshops in six districts focused on empowering marginalized women and people with disabilities, specifically affected by explosive remnants of war. The program plans to lobby policymakers to create inclusive policies that are compatible with the constitution, promote inclusion of people with disabilities and create a cohesive network of interest groups.
